Go Dairy Free

By Alisa Fleming on February 28, 2016

When it seems like nothing but an authentic New York-style cheesecake will satisfy cravings, it may be time to order a Sirabella’s Vegan Cheesecake.

My friend Caroline could easily qualify as an amateur pastry expert, and she can eat dairy, so I was elated to have her over for a trial and review of Sirabella’s Vegan Cheesecake. She loved the thick crust, commenting that it is “very New York-Style”, and thought the filling was a decadent treat that really hit the mark. Since it is such a large and dense dessert (seriously, this vegan cheesecake is hefty!) we shared slivers with more dairy eaters in our building. We weren’t able to get direct feedback from each, but the report back was an overall “good, people liked them!” [...]

Veg Kitchen

BY Jordan St. Clair-Jackson on February 1, 2016

Going vegan no longer means having to give up cheesecake! Sirabella’s Vegan Cheesecake recently sent VegKitchen their dairy-free, egg-free, completely luscious New York-style cheesecake to sample, and it is out of this world. We all enjoyed it immensely — at last, a vegan cheesecake with the look, taste, and texture of traditional cheesecake, with a fraction of the calories and none of the guilt.

This compact and creamy cheesecake is based on 12 servings. At about $3.50 per serving, that’s a great value. Since it’s so dense and filling, we got about 16 servings out of it. Sirabella’s has offered a coupon code for 10% off to VegKitchen readers, bringing the per serving price down even further. [...]

Yummy Plants

By Rebecca Gilbert on February 16 2016

Yes, this is a product review for a VEGAN cheesecake… you read it right: a vegan cheesecake :)

I had the pleasure of sampling the New York Style vegan cheesecake from Sirabella’s at vegancheesecake.net. I was completely amazed by what I tasted.

Sirabella’s makes a dairy-free, egg-free, vegan cheesecake that tastes exactly like a cheesecake! The honey-free graham cracker crust was perfect: golden-brown and “buttery,” with just the right amount of sweetness. The filling tasted JUST LIKE CHEESECAKE!!! Seriously. The founders say on their website that customers couldn’t taste the difference between their vegan cheesecakes and traditional dairy-based cheesecakes… I believe them! [...]

Italian Bakery Launches Vegan Cheesecake Delivery Service

By Hannah Sentenac, Editor-in-Chief on AUGUST 27, 2015

Despite the fact that the delis and restaurants of NYC offer up (almost) everything a hungry Manhattanite could want, plant-based cheesecakes still haven’t made it onto most menus.

But thanks to Sirabella’s, dairy-free versions of this famous dessert can now be delivered straight to doorsteps nationwide.

The company, based in New Jersey, makes its cheesecakes with lactose free cream cheese, vanilla, sugar, and lemon juice, complete with a crumb bottom. One of the founders (Marc Sirabella) is vegan and the other lactose intolerant (Avi Strauss), so they decided to create a dessert that was accessible to everyone. Vegan cheesecake is not an oxymoron with this online vegan Italian bakery

Fair Lawn, New Jersey (PRWEB) August 25, 2015

Sirabella’s VeganCheesecake.net proudly announced the grand opening of their online Italian bakery dedicated to gourmet vegan cheesecakes (no dairy or eggs included). Reviewers have raved that the taste of this vegan cheesecake is the same as the real thing. This monumental accomplishment of creating the ultimate oxymoron through soy, tofu, and alternative ingredients has created quite the buzz. The vegan market has been rapidly expanding in the United States as people become more socially conscious about their food. Company President and longtime Vegan, Marc Sirabella, said “We believe the vegan market will appreciate a business dedicated to this delicious dessert and at the same time one that shares in the same social values as its customers.”

Sirabella’s offers large bakery sized New York style vegan cheesecakes with an assortment of optional side sauces; chocolate, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and cherry. The product is available through nationwide delivery (2-3 business days). [...]
